Just A Thought

Updated: Dec 21, 2020

“Never, never be afraid to do what’s right, especially if the well-being of a person or animal is at stake. Society’s punishments are small compared to the wounds we inflict on our soul when we look the other way.” Martin Luther King Jr.

I've not made a public statement about George Floyd and what is happening in our country today as a result of this horrible injustice inflicted on him, his family and the country, but allow me to post JUST A THOUGHT:

Racism is a spiritual problem that came into existence in the beginning when WE was sacrificed on the cross of ME. Making our challenge not about black and white, red and yellow, straight and gay, liberal and conservative, rich and poor, Arab and Jew, Muslim and Christian—but about about ME recognizing my nationality as WE THE PEOPLE. Our hope is ME being crucified on the cross of WE. Without sacrifice there is no forgiveness; without forgiveness there is no healing and without healing history is destined to repeat itself until there remains nothing left to repeat.
